A contract between you and FinanzWissen is concluded when you complete a booking or purchase through our website, or when we confirm your registration by email. For workshops, coaching and corporate training, the contract is concluded upon written confirmation of the agreed scope, schedule and fees.
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide during registration. If you register on behalf of a company or organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to bind that entity.
4. Services and Scope
FinanzWissen provides the following services:

The exact scope of each service is described on the relevant course or service page and in any written offer or confirmation. Minor changes to content, schedule or format that do not materially reduce the value of the service are reserved, provided we notify you in good time.
5. Prices and Payment
All prices are stated in euros and include the applicable statutory VAT. Individual courses start at €49, with bundle and coaching options available as listed on our website. Corporate training is quoted individually.
Payment is due in full at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed in writing. For corporate clients, invoices are payable within 14 days of the invoice date. Access to online courses is granted only after receipt of payment. In the event of late payment, FinanzWissen may suspend access to services until the outstanding amount is settled.
6. Right of Withdrawal for Consumers
If you conclude the contract as a consumer within the meaning of § 13 of the German Civil Code (BGB), you have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days without giving reasons. The withdrawal period begins on the day the contract is concluded.
To exercise the right of withdrawal, send a clear written declaration to FinanzWissen, Kaiserstraße 42, 60311 Frankfurt am Main, Germany, or by email to [email protected]. If you withdraw, we will refund all payments received without undue delay and no later than 14 days after receiving your withdrawal notice.
Please note: if you expressly request that digital content (online courses) be made available before the end of the withdrawal period, you lose the right of withdrawal once access has been granted and you have acknowledged the loss of this right.
7. Cancellation and Rescheduling
7.1 Workshops and Live Webinars
You may cancel your participation in writing at any time. Cancellations received more than 14 days before the event are refunded in full. Cancellations received between 7 and 14 days before the event incur a 50% cancellation fee. Cancellations received less than 7 days before the event are non-refundable. You may instead transfer your place to another person at no charge.
7.2 Personal Coaching
Coaching sessions may be rescheduled or cancelled free of charge up to 48 hours before the scheduled start. Later cancellations or missed appointments will be charged in full.
7.3 Cancellation by FinanzWissen
If an event must be cancelled or postponed due to illness of the instructor, insufficient participant numbers or other circumstances beyond our control, you will be notified as early as possible and offered an alternative date or a full refund. Further claims, in particular reimbursement of travel or accommodation costs, are excluded except in cases of intent or gross negligence.
8. Access to Online Courses and Licence of Use
Upon full payment, you receive a simple, non-transferable, non-exclusive right to access the purchased online course for personal use. Access is granted for the period stated on the course page; if no period is stated, access is granted for at least 12 months from purchase.
You may not share your login credentials with third parties, download, record, reproduce, distribute or publicly display course materials, or use the content for commercial training purposes without our prior written consent. All rights to course content, videos, worksheets and other materials remain with FinanzWissen.
9. User Obligations
When using our website and services, you agree to:
- Provide truthful and complete information during registration
- Keep your access credentials confidential and notify us immediately of any unauthorised access
- Treat instructors and other participants with respect during live sessions
- Not use our services for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms
We may exclude you from live sessions or terminate your course access without refund if you materially breach these obligations, particularly by sharing content or credentials without authorisation.
10. Disclaimer of Financial Advice
All courses, workshops and coaching sessions are educational in nature. They are intended to improve your general financial literacy and decision-making skills. FinanzWissen does not:
- Recommend specific financial products, providers or investments
- Assess the suitability or appropriateness of any transaction for your personal situation
- Accept any responsibility or liability for financial decisions you make based on educational content
You remain solely responsible for your financial decisions. If you require individualised investment or tax advice, please consult a licensed financial advisor or tax professional.
11. Liability
FinanzWissen is liable without limitation for damage caused by intent or gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, and in accordance with the provisions of the German Product Liability Act (ProdHaftG). In cases of ordinary negligence, we are liable only for breach of essential contractual obligations (Kardinalpflichten) and limited to foreseeable damage typical for this type of contract. Liability for indirect damage, consequential damage or loss of profit is excluded in such cases.

Online course access ends automatically at the end of the stated access period. Coaching and training agreements end with the completion of the agreed sessions. Either party may terminate for good cause (wichtiger Grund) without notice. Upon termination, your access to paid digital content will end.
14. Final Provisions
Should any provision of these Terms and Conditions be or become invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall not be affected. The invalid provision shall be replaced by a valid provision that comes closest to the economic intent of the original.
The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG). For consumers, this choice of law applies only insofar as it does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory provisions of the law of your country of habitual residence. The exclusive place of jurisdiction for disputes with business customers is Frankfurt am Main. Dispute resolution: we are neither willing nor obliged to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may amend these Terms and Conditions to reflect changes in our services or legal requirements. Amendments will be published on this page with an updated date. For ongoing contractual relationships, material changes will be communicated to you by email and are deemed accepted unless you object in writing within 30 days.
