We Make Money Make Sense
FinanzWissen was founded on a simple belief: everyone deserves to understand their finances, no matter their background or starting point.
Our Mission
FinanzWissen started in 2014 when our founders noticed how many capable, hardworking people felt lost when it came to budgeting, saving, and investing. Financial topics were either locked behind jargon or sold as complex products rather than explained as everyday skills.
We set out to change that. Today, we teach practical financial literacy through online courses, live workshops, and personal consulting — always independently, without selling or recommending any financial products.
From our office in Frankfurt am Main, we have taught over 25,000 students across Germany and beyond, helping them pay down debt, build savings habits, and plan for retirement with confidence.
What We Stand For
Three principles guide everything we teach, write, and build.
Full Independence
We never sell financial products or accept commissions from banks or insurers. Our income comes only from course fees and consulting — so our advice serves you, not third parties.
Plain Language
Compound interest, ETFs, tax brackets — every concept is explained in everyday words with real-life examples, so nothing stays confusing after the lesson ends.
Practical Application
Knowledge only matters when you use it. Every course includes worksheets, exercises, and action steps you can apply to your own finances the same week.
